THE PROJECT
THE PROJECT
CLI-MIC is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to advancing the use of
comics as an
innovative
educational tool
to promote
climate action.
Through the development, transfer, and implementation of comics-based learning in schools, our project aims to foster Climate Change Active Citizenship among students.
OBJECTIVES
Implementing COMICS as an innovative pedagogy to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education in connection with Climate Change Adaptation Challenges. By integrating comics into the curriculum, we seek to engage students in a multidisciplinary approach that combines scientific knowledge with creative storytelling.
Supporting school teachers in delivering competence-based teaching through COMICS. We understand the importance of empowering educators with the necessary tools and resources to effectively incorporate comics into their teaching practices. By providing guidance and training, we aim to enhance teachers' ability to deliver competence-based education that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Stimulating and encouraging active agents and citizens through COMICS, fostering the development of social and environmental competences and critical thinking. Through the power of comics, we strive to inspire students to become active agents of change in tackling climate issues. By nurturing social and environmental competences, we aim to empower students to take meaningful action and make a positive impact in their communities.
Promoting the relations among different educational sectors and organizations related to Climate Change Challenges and STEAM education through COMICS. CLI-MIC aims to facilitate collaboration and networking among various stakeholders, including educational institutions and organizations focused on climate change and STEAM education. By fostering these connections, we seek to create a vibrant community of practice that supports the exchange of knowledge and best practices in climate change education.
